Job Summary
Conduct guest check-ins and check-outs, assign rooms, and facilitate payments while maintaining accurate room inventory. Answer reservations and inquiries in person and by telephone, utilizing suggestive selling techniques to increase occupancy and revenue. Coordinate with hotel departments to manage requests, schedule wake-up calls, and resolve billing issues or complaints. Process charges, receipts, and cash payments using established procedures to ensure precise hotel records. Provide assistance to team members and perform other duties as assigned by leadership while adhering to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1 year within a customer-facing role
- Intermediate computer skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Flexibility to work any shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to grasp, lift and or carry, or otherwise, move goods weighing a maximum of 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time in an indoor setting with a thematically climate-controlled workstation
- Pre-employment drug test
- Background check
