Job Summary
Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests; verify guest credit and establish payment methods for accommodations; maintain accurate guest records and balance cash; post charges to ledgers and process payments; issue room keys and coordinate with bell staff; manage check-in/check-out procedures and guest inquiries; coordinate with housekeeping/maintenance to address issues and handle reservations and communications using property management systems; flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or guest service role preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in using property management systems and basic office software (e.g., Word, Excel)
- Ability to handle cash transactions and perform basic bookkeeping tasks
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and follow established hotel policies and procedures
