Job Summary
Guest Services Agent responsible for operating guest registration, bell services, telephone services, and reservations to ensure guest satisfaction and hotel profitability. Key duties include resolving guest complaints, promptly responding to service requests, using the hotel computer system for reservations, handling guest interactions with an energetic, guest-first attitude, and contributing to a team that delivers exceptional experiences. Requires strong English proficiency, customer-service orientation, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, basic computer skills, willingness to work AM/PM/overnight and weekend/holiday shifts, and physical ability to stand for extended periods. Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; prior guest-service experience encouraged; bilingual a plus; cash handling experience desirable.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Previous hotel Guest Service experience strongly encouraged
- Must be willing to work a variety of AM/PM/overnight, weekend and holiday shifts
- Strong command of the English language to include speaking, reading and writing
- Bilingual a plus
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Able to stand for long periods
- Excellent people skills, listening skills, and energetic personality
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel, Internet Explorer)
- Cash handling experience strongly desired
- Able to lift, pull, or carry items weighing approximately 50 pounds
