Job Summary
Check-in and check-out guests, verify arrivals and departures, and ensure internal activities run smoothly. Respond with care to all guest requests via in-person, telephone, or email channels, resolving issues proactively to ensure a memorable stay. Collaborate with other departments to provide relevant information that enables personalized experiences. This full-time permanent position in Halifax, Nova Scotia requires 18 months of hospitality experience and proficiency with OPERA PMS. The hourly wage is $18.40, and the role is unionized within a HAC Québec sec environment.
Required Qualifications
- 18 months experience in a similar position within hospitality industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Natural customer service orientation with a positive attitude
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and calm
- Strong listening skills to understand guest needs and preferences
- Good computer skills
- Experience with OPERA PMS
