Guest Service Representative (Part Time)

Job Summary
Provide helpful service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns with professionalism. Lead by example by reinforcing company culture and guiding associates in daily operations. Utilize leadership tools to oversee activities, monitor compliance, and maintain department cleanliness. Support the team by managing checkout lines, directing guests, and optimizing schedules based on sales and traffic. Monitor staff coverage by calling in additional members and ensuring timely attendance. Enforce labor laws by appropriately scheduling minor employees for breaks and lunches. Communicate with shift managers when assistance is required and manage lane flow by opening additional checkout lanes as needed. Track attendance using the GSR Shift Report and ensure sufficient cart availability. Maintain regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand in place for long periods of time
- Ability to walk in the store
- Ability to bend, stoop and kneel regularly
- Fine finger and broad manual dexterity
- Eye-hand-foot coordination to operate equipment
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to move/handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store
- Ability to lift
- Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
- Ability to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays within the individual's availability
