Guest Service Representative - Night Auditor

Job Summary
Greet and register guests, provide room assignments, and maintain guest privacy while accommodating special requests. Act as Manager on Duty by responding immediately to guest requests, checking credit card validity, and ensuring all cash and miscellaneous departments are balanced at shift end. Promote hotel services and amenities, take future reservations, and relay pertinent information to housekeeping and other departments regarding special needs or late check-outs. Learn and utilize the property management system to post charges and compute bills, while keeping the lobby and dining area clean and professional. Maintain stock, follow approved laundry procedures, and adhere to safety standards and emergency protocols throughout the night shift. Work unsupervised and remain productive while communicating with guests, co-workers, and management via phone, mail, and log books.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds unassisted
- Must be able to lift and/or carry 30 pounds unassisted
- Must be able to stand for eight hours
- Must be able to bend, stretch, reach
- Must be able to see and hear
- Must be able to communicate with other associates and/or guests
- Computer literate to thoroughly operate property management system
- Proficient in written and verbal English
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Must be able to work unsupervised and be productive at all times, even overnight
- Must be able to work a night shift schedule
- Must be able to work any day/shift, including weekends
- Character traits of honesty and trustworthiness
- Must pass appropriate security clearances
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in accounting, sales, telesales, service or guest relations type of industry
