Job Summary
Greet guests, perform check-in/out procedures, and explain promotional items and amenities during conversations. Follow cash and credit card procedures, check house counts, review credit limit exceptions, and clear checkouts or extend stays. Update housekeeping room status, balance departments, and perform cashier shift changes. Respond promptly to inquiries or complaints by offering alternate solutions, document accidents, and remain hospitable and accommodating. Work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- One year hospitality experience
- Customer service experience
- Experience handling cash and credit card procedures
- Ability and flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Knowledge of the hotel layout, all amenities offered, and all procedures & organization
- Knowledge of local geographic area knowledge, area businesses & services, major highway/street information, and community events & attractions
- Attention to detail
