Guest Service Representative

Job Summary
Provide genuine, efficient and friendly front-of-house service for the hotel. Greet guests and courteously answer questions about the hotel and local area; check guests in and out efficiently; resolve complaints positively; answer phones and take reservations; follow front desk procedures to ensure five-star service and consistency; manage cash handling and cashier closings; monitor high balance guests and VIPs; coordinate with group sales to manage rooming lists, assignments, cut-off dates, and billing accuracy; ensure timely delivery of packages and items; maintain a neat uniform; participate in regular front desk meetings; uphold hotel safety policies; assist with other duties as assigned by Front Office Manager; requires availability on holidays and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing to work holidays and weekends.
- Friendly, outgoing personality and professional appearance required.
- Hospitality experience and/or customer service experience preferred.
