Job Summary
Guest Service Host at Chicagoland gaming cafes (Dotty's, Stella's Place & Shelby's) serving as the first point of contact for guests and vendors. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service, anticipating guest needs, knowledge of VGT machines and features, resolving machine issues, promoting marketing initiatives, accurately documenting guest activity, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, handling food and beverages, recording temperatures, managing cash drawer and tips, ensuring compliance with liquor and gaming regulations, and completing required certifications within 30 days of hire. Requires 21+ and reliable transportation; strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team; prior customer service experience preferred; ability to operate a POS system and lift up to 15 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Able to use a touch-sensitive POS system
- Ability to bend, reach, lift and/or carry 15 pounds
- Knowledge of service environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation
- Attend meetings and trainings as required by management
