Job Summary
Guest Service Center Specialist in a high-volume casino environment focuses on delivering exceptional guest service through Cage and Players Club interactions, conducting currency exchanges, voucher cash-ins, marker issuance, and check cashing, enrolling new members into A-Play Club, promoting promotions, and maintaining accurate cash handling and accounting procedures. Responsibilities include processing transactions accurately, greeting guests, promoting casino events, verifying identification, maintaining cash drawers, ensuring compliance with Currency Transaction Reporting, and supporting vault and paperwork duties related to slot jackpots and table game fills. Must communicate effectively in English, handle cash transactions with precision, and adhere to SOPs and regulatory requirements. This role emphasizes guest satisfaction, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting, with possible overnight and weekend shifts and requirement to obtain an Iowa gaming license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- Previous high-volume cash handling experience preferred
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
- Ability to work overnights and weekends
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Iowa Gaming License
