Job Summary
Guest Service Center Specialist at Lakeside Hotel Casino delivers welcoming, high-touch guest service while handling cash and casino transactions (currency exchanges, voucher redemptions, marker issuance, check cashing) and enrolling guests into the A-Play Club. Responsibilities include processing cash/coin transactions, counting funds, maintaining guest accounts, promoting casino promotions, verifying identifications, ensuring regulatory compliance, balancing cash drawers, and communicating with supervisors. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, strong English communication, basic computer skills, prior cash handling experience, and availability for overnight/weekend shifts; knowledge of casino software (Everi Cash Club) and ability to obtain Iowa Gaming License. All team members strive to create positive guest interactions in a fast-paced casino environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- Previous high-volume cash handling experience preferred
- Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills
- Ability to work overnights and weekends
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Iowa Gaming License
