Job Summary
The Guest Service Associate at United Dairy Farmers is responsible for providing outstanding service by following the UDF Hi Five Guest Experience. Key responsibilities include greeting Guests, preparing ice cream and shake orders, operating the Point of Sale system, stocking merchandise, maintaining store security, ensuring the cleanliness of the store and parking lot, and accurately completing time records. Candidates must have effective communication skills, basic arithmetic skills, and the ability to operate store equipment. Physical requirements include tolerance for low temperatures and the ability to lift and move merchandise.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English effectively
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and do arithmetic accurately
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to displays
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as –30 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as +33 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level
- Ability to place an 8” x 10” x 10” package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet
