Job Summary
The Guest Service Associate at United Dairy Farmers ensures an exceptional experience for every guest by following the Hi Five Guest Experience approach. Responsibilities include greeting guests, preparing ice cream and shake orders, operating the point-of-sale system, stocking merchandise, and maintaining store security and cleanliness. The role requires proficiency in handling transactions and understanding equipment operations, alongside physical tasks such as moving merchandise and tolerating low temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions
- Ability to recognize numbers and do arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to displays
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures between -30°F and +33°F
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level
- Ability to place an 8" x 10" x 10" package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet
