Job Summary
The Guest Services Associate at United Dairy Farmers is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service through the Hi Five Guest Experience. Key responsibilities include greeting guests, preparing DipSide items such as shakes and ice cream, and operating the point of sale and gas console efficiently. The role also involves stocking merchandise, maintaining store security, cleaning and organizing the store, and completing necessary records. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, be able to follow operational instructions, and handle various forms of payment. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and handle merchandise and tolerate extreme temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear, and understand spoken English
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons, and food stamps
- Ability to recognize numbers, count, and do arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to shelves/displays/freezers/milk box
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as –30 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as +33 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level to a height of 5 feet
- Ability to place an 8” x 10” x 10” package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet
