Job Summary
The Guest Services Associate is responsible for providing exceptional service by following the UDF Hi Five Guest Experience, greeting customers warmly, and ensuring satisfaction. Key tasks include operating the point of sale system, preparing DipSide items, maintaining store cleanliness, stocking merchandise, and following security protocols. Essential qualifications include the ability to communicate effectively, handle various payment methods, operate store equipment, and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving merchandise. Must be able to tolerate cold temperatures and work flexible shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and do arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to shelves
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as –30 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 2 minutes
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as +33 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 10 minutes
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level to a height of 5 feet
- Ability to place an 8” x 10” x 10” package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet
