Job Summary
As a Guest Services Associate, you will provide outstanding service by implementing the UDF Hi Five Guest Experience, which includes greeting guests warmly, ensuring the store is ready for customers, and helping guests leave satisfied. Responsibilities include preparing shakes and ice cream items, operating a point of sale system and gas console, stocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, ensuring security by monitoring guests, and accurately completing necessary records. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to work with various temperatures, and physical capability to lift and move merchandise.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English effectively
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies located in the dip cabinets
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and do arithmetic to complete records
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to shelves/displays/freezers/milk box
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as -30 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as +33 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level to a height of 5 feet
- Ability to place an 8” x 10” x 10” package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet 3 feet above the floor
