Job Summary
The Guest Services Associate at United Dairy Farmers provides outstanding service by following the five phases of The Hi Five Guest Experience. Responsibilities include greeting guests, preparing shakes and ice cream, operating the point of sale system, stocking merchandise, ensuring security measures, maintaining cleanliness and organization, completing required reporting, and performing other duties assigned by management. Candidates must communicate effectively in English, operate store equipment, handle cash transactions, and meet physical requirements such as lifting and tolerating various temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old to work at United Dairy Farmers.
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English.
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment.
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment.
- Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies located in the dip cabinets.
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps.
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and do arithmetic.
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to shelves/displays/freezers/milk box.
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to low temperatures.
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level to a height of 5 feet.
