Job Summary
The Guest Services Associate provides outstanding customer service by following the five phases of The Hi Five Guest Experience. Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing the preparation of food items, operating the Point of Sale system, stocking merchandise, ensuring store safety and cleanliness, and maintaining awareness to prevent theft. Applicants must effectively communicate in English, operate store equipment, handle transactions, and perform physical tasks, such as lifting and cleaning. This role is part-time, requiring up to 25 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, and credit transactions
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and do arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to displays
- Ability to clean counters and surfaces
- Ability to tolerate temperatures as low as -30 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to tolerate temperatures as low as +33 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds
- Ability to place an 8” x 10” x 10” package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet
