Job Summary
The Guest Services Associate at United Dairy Farmers is responsible for providing outstanding service by ensuring the store is prepared for customers, greeting guests warmly, and following company policies for operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include preparing menu items such as shakes and ice cream, operating the point of sale system, stocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness and security, and accurate reporting. Candidates must communicate effectively in English, handle cash transactions, be physically able to lift and move items, and maintain awareness to prevent theft.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English effectively
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies located in the dip cabinets
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, and credit transactions
- Ability to recognize numbers and count accurately
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to shelves/displays/freezers
- Ability to clean counters and surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level to a height of 5 feet
- Ability to place packages weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet
