Job Summary
The Guest Services Associate at United Dairy Farmers is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by following The Hi Five Guest Experience. Key responsibilities include greeting and assisting guests, preparing ice cream and shake products, operating the POS system, stocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness and organization, and ensuring safety and security protocols are followed. Candidates must be at least 16 years old and possess strong communication skills, the ability to operate store equipment, and perform basic arithmetic. The role requires physical abilities such as lifting, moving merchandise, and tolerating various temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, and make change
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and do arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise and place for proper display
- Ability to clean counters and surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to varying temperatures
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level to a height of 5 feet
- Ability to place a package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet
