Job Summary
Conduct daily facility and equipment inspections, perform constant room checks, and ensure the safety and security of the recuperative care facility. Greet guests, provide orientation to program guidelines, and build rapport through constant engagement while attending to requests and assisting with appointments. Maintain accurate records including shift notes and incident reports, manage bed availability documentation, and support inventory checks. Perform laundry, clothing requests, and mealtime duties, including housekeeping services when needed. Respond to guest concerns with positive intervention and attend all required training on crisis prevention, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid CA driver's license
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
- Must be able to work a schedule with five (5) eight (8) hour shifts
- Must model and project a positive professional image and adhere to the organization dress code
- Must be flexible to adapt to schedule changes and/or work additional shifts to meet the needs of the facility
- Must utilize conversational speech for effective verbal communication
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years caregiver experience in a Healthcare or Recuperative Care environment
