Job Summary
Greet guests and provide professional Food & Beverage service by resolving queries, handling complaints, and taking orders when the supervisor is absent. Inspect operating equipment, linen, and condiments before service, then clear soiled tableware and reset tables for the next arrival. Advise guests on menu specials and coordinate with all hotel departments to ensure productivity and guest satisfaction. Report equipment malfunctions, emergencies, or suspicious persons to the supervisor. Maintain familiarity with the property layout, fire exits, and elevator locations.
Required Qualifications
- Secondary / High school education / Hotel Management Degree
- Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Good communication and customer contact skills
- Service oriented with an eye for details
- Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team
- Self-motivated and energetic
- Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
Desired Qualifications
- Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage
- Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages
