Job Summary
Greet guests at the front entrance and lobby, manage check-in and check-out procedures, and handle luggage transport, valet parking, and key creation. Answer front desk phones, direct calls, and provide accurate information about resort amenities, local venues, and transportation. Assist with reservations, spa bookings, and guest folios when the cashier is unavailable. Deliver messages, faxes, and packages, and maintain shuttle cleanliness while reporting vehicle issues. Activate emergency procedures for fires, accidents, or weather events and keep the lobby tidy. Work evenings, holidays, and weekends with flexibility to take on new tasks as directed by the Department Leader.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21 or older to operate the company van
- Possess a valid driver's license and pass a driving record check
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Required to be available to work evenings, holidays, and weekends
- Basic mathematical skills
- Word and Excel proficient
- Outlook
- Prolonged periods of standing
- Must be able to transfer luggage from vehicle trunks to bell carts and to guest rooms, ranging up to 40lbs
- Must be able to physically reach, bend, stoop and kneel
- Must be able to work under variable temperature conditions (extreme heat or cold, indoors/outdoors)
Desired Qualifications
- Night Auditor experience a plus
- One to three months' customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
