Job Summary

Deliver hospitality-focused front desk service as the Guest Services Agent, providing information on hotel services, registering guests, issuing room keys, processing transactions, handling reservations and upselling rooms where possible. Serve as the first point of contact, maintain guest relations and ensure adherence to Sonesta Service standards (G.U.E.S.T.). Collaborate across shifts, assist with in-house guest relations, and support the Operations Manager as needed. Requires professional English communication, basic math for transactions, and willingness to obtain ServSafe (and possibly TIPS) certifications; prior hotel or extended-stay retail experience and familiarity with Opera systems are desired.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One year of previous hotel experience, or retail customer service preferred
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Mathematical skills including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Opera systems preferred
  • Will be required to obtain a ServSafe certification
  • May be required to obtain a TIPS certification
  • Valid driver’s license required
