Job Summary
Guest Services Agent at Sonesta manages front desk operations and guest relations, serves as the first point of contact for guests, handles check-ins/outs, reservations, and information on hotel services while upholding Sonesta’s service standards. Responsibilities include registering guests, issuing room keys, processing cash and card transactions, maintaining security of guest information, up-selling rooms, coordinating with shifts and management, handling guest requests and special services, and complying with health, safety, and alcohol-service regulations. Preferred background includes hotel or retail customer service, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Opera systems, and the potential to obtain ServSafe and/or TIPS certifications. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
