Job Summary
Front Desk/Guest Service Agent responsibilities include handling all guest interactions, serving as the first point of contact to create an excellent first impression, anticipating guest needs, resolving complaints to ensure guest satisfaction, and maintaining knowledge of hotel features, rates, and promotions. The role requires strong communication, guest-relations, and problem-solving skills, proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office, experience with StayNTouch or similar PMS, and the ability to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced hotel environment. The agent must uphold departmental policies, monitor check-in/check-out, assist with express check-outs, and maintain a neat front desk area while delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior hospitality experience required
- Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
- Previous experience with Windows, Office, and StayNTouch or similar property management system
