Job Summary
Greet, register, and service guests in a friendly and courteous manner while making and confirming reservations. Establish payment methods, verify credit, and compute bills to collect payments and make change. Transmit and receive messages via telephone or the PMS system, and respond to guest requests and complaints, elevating issues to a supervisor as necessary. Secure valuables in hotel safes or safe-deposit boxes, perform bookkeeping activities, and assist in the breakfast area or with luggage during peak periods. Maintain safe work habits and follow OSHA standards. This role supports the Front Desk Supervisor growth path within HHM Hotels, focusing on increasing guest satisfaction scores.
Required Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience or equivalent training
- Must be available for holidays, weekends and alternate shifts
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to bend and reach
- Must be able to stoop
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to crouch
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
