Guest Service Agent

Greet, register, and service guests in a friendly and courteous manner according to brand and sustainability standards. Immediately assist with needs, assign rooms, and establish payment methods while verifying credit. Make and confirm reservations, compute bills, collect payments, and make change. Transmit and receive messages via telephone or PMS, respond to requests timely, and resolve complaints by elevating to a supervisor if necessary. Secure valuables in hotel safes or safe-deposit boxes. Perform bookkeeping activities including balancing accounts and conducting audits. Monitor guest satisfaction scores to increase departmental and overall scores. Practice safe work habits, wear protective equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards. Assist in the breakfast area or handle luggage during peak periods. Work varying schedules including holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
