Job Summary
Greet arriving guests, complete check-in procedures, and facilitate departures by closing accounts and checking availability. Calculate and post monies, receipts, and credit charges using proper cash handling methods. Answer inquiries and accept reservations in person and over the phone, utilizing suggestive selling techniques to communicate rates and create value. Operate PBX equipment for incoming and outgoing calls, set wake-up calls, and process guest mail, messages, and faxes. Maintain guest relations by staying abreast of in-house and area functions to answer questions timely. Control cash and credit transactions at the front desk, contributing to department communications through log books. Deliver the "Home Away From Home" experience while performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
