Job Summary
Guest Services Agent at Virginia Guesthouse (UVA Grounds) providing exceptional customer service to guests from arrival through stay. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, assisting with unloading luggage, escorting guests to the front desk and to their rooms, opening doors for guests, guiding guests to amenities, parking/retrieving vehicles, and collaborating with fellow attendants to deliver a personalized guest experience. Must have at least one year of customer service experience, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to work in a fast-paced hotel environment with weekend/holiday shifts. Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving ability, teamwork, and clear verbal communication are essential. This role is based at the Virginia Guesthouse in Charlottesville, VA, within Pyramid Global Hospitality, offering a people-first culture and opportunities for growth and development.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year in a customer service role
- Valid driver's license with no major infractions for 6 months
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
