Job Summary
Create an exceptional guest experience by educating clients on European Wax Center services, products, and Wax Pass benefits while upselling retail items and confirming add-on recommendations. Administer check-ins, check-outs, and payment processing, then organize the reservation book based on guest requests and associate availability. Perform opening and closing procedures, maintain a clean lobby and restroom environment, and utilize EWC terminology to tailor standard responses. Arrive on time following the required dress code and name tag policy. This role requires a high school diploma, two years of customer service experience, and the ability to lift 25 pounds. Pay is $17.50 per hour plus up to $1,600 in annual commissions, with benefits including complementary waxing, skincare discounts, and 401(k) plans.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years customer service experience or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to perform external or internal events
- Ability to work flexible days and hours, including weekends/evenings
- Exude a positive, friendly, and personable demeanor
- Ability to receive and provide feedback
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times as defined in the EWC Growth Associate Handbook
- Regularly required to talk and hear
- Perform sitting and standing at a desk and working on a computer, with times of prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling
- Lift and/or move items over 25 pounds

- Willingness to initiate genuine conversation & connection while educating guests on product + service recommendations
- Upsell and cross-sell retail products & various waxing services
- Educate guests on benefits and savings of Wax Passes
- Create a memorable guest experience by utilizing EWC terminology and tailoring the scripts and standard responses while working in the location
- Confirm each guest service(s) and offer recommended/related add on service(s)
- Administer check-ins and check-outs, processing payments, refunds and reservation requests
- Inform the guest of the pre-booking benefits and how to utilize the app to reschedule
- Organize the reservation book based on guest requests and associate availability
- Perform opening and closing procedures for the center
- Maintain a safe, sparkling clean, organized and visually pleasant environment within lobby and restrooms
