Job Summary
Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards, removing all trash and dirty linen from rooms and hallways. Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed. Restock the housekeeping cleaning cart and replenish chemical bottles for the next day. Report missing items such as irons or hair dryers, and immediately report any maintenance repairs to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager. Handle "Lost and Found" items per established standards while ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Assist Floor Leads and Room Attendant requests as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and Guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
