Job Summary
Conduct routine cleaning and servicing of assigned guest rooms, including making beds, scrubbing bathrooms, dusting fixtures, and replenishing supplies. Ensure overall room compliance with resort standards by reporting maintenance deficiencies to Engineering and returning guest items to the supervisor. Maintain consistent attendance and adhere to service expectations while operating vacuum cleaners and cleaning carpets. Work seven days a week, 24 hours a day, with a requirement for 30 daytime hours. This role supports the expansion of Miccosukee Casino & Resort, which recently opened a new Smoking Room, High Limit Slots area, and VIP Lounge.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License
- English required
- Must be able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods of time
- Flexibility with work schedule required
- Effective communication skills required
- Must be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental contaminants including smoke
- Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 20 pounds unassisted in the performance of specific tasks assigned
- Must be able to work with others, communicate well, receive direction, and provide feedback when needed to achieve department goals and objectives
- Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with guests in a congenial and polite manner
- Members are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times and to observe the Company's standards, work requirements and rules of conduct
- Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job
- Must be willing and available to fulfill demands of a seven days a week, 24 hours a day schedule
Desired Qualifications
