Job Summary
Cleans hotel rooms, hallways, linen rooms, and employee and storage areas as directed. Maintains and cleans all equipment used throughout the shift, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and brooms. Performs all duties in a quiet and orderly manner while greeting guests with proper salutations and assisting with issues within authority. Maintains proper documentation of duties and reports safety hazards or maintenance deficiencies. Abides by security measures and maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters. Assists the House Person with department projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to clean as directed at an acceptable performance rate
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Must be able to operate equipment, including but not limited to vacuum cleaners, cleaning supplies, mop, and broom
- Ability to minimally communicate and understand, in English, matters of mutual concern, such as directions, hazards, or questions
- Prior experience as a Guest Room Attendant required
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Six (6) months of previous cleaning experience preferred
- Willingness to learn and follow direction
