Job Summary
Maintain exceptional customer service for all clientele by adhering to "Meet and Greet" policies and managing transactions at the customer service desk, including cashiering, lottery, Western Union, and license sales. Watch the Front End to ensure associates focus on customers and evaluate carry-out offers for quick, efficient service. Assist other departments as needed, including stocking tobacco areas, while developing knowledge of office and bookkeeping functions. Comply with all company policies, dress codes, and physical requirements involving lifting 50 lb. boxes and using sharp instruments.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products.
- Must have dexterous use of both hands.
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use.
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparations of food items and/or removing products from boxes.
- Good, corrected vision.
- Good, corrected hearing.
- Ability to stoop.
- Ability to kneel.
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
