Job Summary
Maintain exceptional customer service for all clientele by adhering to "Meet and Greet" policies and handling transactions at the customer service desk, including cashiering, lottery, Western Union, and hunting license sales. Watch the Front End to ensure associates focus on customers while evaluating carry-out offers and providing efficient parcel pick-up service. Assist other departments as needed, such as stocking tobacco areas or learning additional functions. Develop knowledge of office and bookkeeping functions and stay trained on all customer service transactions. Comply with company policies, dress code, and name tag requirements. This medium work requires good vision, hearing, and the ability to lift 50 lb. boxes, stand, move, and work on floors that may become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products.
- Must have dexterous use of both hands.
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use.
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparations of food items and/or removing products from boxes.
- Good, corrected vision.
- Good, corrected hearing.
- Ability to stoop.
- Ability to kneel.
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
