Guest Lecturer - Artist Teacher of Trombone

Job Summary

Teach weekly trombone lessons to undergraduate music majors, minors, and non-majors while holding studio classes and coaching orchestra and chamber music players. Mentor students for juries, competitions, and graduate school auditions, and adjudicate performance juries and orchestra auditions. Actively recruit by engaging with high school programs, youth orchestras, festivals, and clinics. Begin August 26, 2026, with a starting rate of $60/hour. Candidates must hold a Master of Music with three years of studio teaching experience. Priority is given to those with a record of strong teaching, accomplished performance, and Christian faith.
