Job Summary
Greet guests, take orders, and manage the dining room experience while making drip coffee, cold brew, and specialty espresso drinks. Handle pickup and third-party orders with accuracy, keep the counter and coffee bar clean and stocked, and recommend menu items. Work morning shifts from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM with weekend availability required, earning $9–$11/hr base pay plus tips in a full-service cafe environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 14 years old
- Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Reliable transportation to and from shifts
- Must be able to work weekends
- Comfortable handling cash, card transactions, and POS systems
- Able to communicate clearly and respectfully with both guests and teammates
- Ability to move fast, work clean, and stay calm
- Someone who shows up — on time and in a good mood
- Friendly, outgoing, and able to create a welcoming vibe
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment — especially during rushes
- Detail-oriented when packaging orders and calling out names
- Team-minded — willing to help wherever needed: register, bar, cleaning, etc.
- Stays calm under pressure and adapts quickly to changes in flow
Desired Qualifications
- Barista experience
- Prior experience in a barista, cashier, or counter service role
- Familiarity with Toast POS, DoorDash order handling
- Interest in coffee, hospitality, or restaurant work as a long-term career
- Willing to learn coffee and drink prep
