Job Summary
Direct guests to premium clubs, entrances, and suites while managing orderly ingress and egress at UBS Arena. Scan tickets, control elevator access, and assist patrons with seating, restrooms, and venue amenities. Provide specialized accommodations for guests with disabilities and respond to or escalate complaints. Complete incident reports for accidents and out-of-the-ordinary events while adhering to safety protocols. Utilize handheld devices and tablets to manage crowd control and administrative duties. Engage guests with event information and maintain a positive image in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a customer service-based industry
- Must be able to complete all required training
- Must be able to engage with guests first
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be available for 80% of events scheduled each month
- Ability to function independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Ability to utilize web-based programs and digital equipment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work with the public and have interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift heavy objects
- Ability to stand in the same spot for extended periods of time
- Ability to walk up and down stairs
- Ability to work in enclosed spaces
- Ability to work steep, elevated areas
- Must uphold and maintain a customer-friendly environment
