Guest Experience Coordinator/Receptionist

Job Summary
Conduct front-of-house operations as the first impression for guests, maintaining a professional, clean, and respectful salon environment. Diffuse tense situations to ensure positive guest experiences while collaborating closely with hair stylists and beauty technicians. Oversee appointment calendar management to optimize schedules and maximize bookings, while discussing and selling hair packages, memberships, and beauty products. Participate in routine up-training and skill advancement, with opportunities for cross-training on makeup services or promotion to certified stylist. Work weekends and flexible hours, including peak times Thursday through Saturday, to support Blo's growing network of North American locations.
Required Qualifications
- The ability to work weekends (Fridays and Saturday) and be flexible with your schedule (must be able to work peak hours as determined by the bar, typically Thursday through Saturday)
- A passion for the beauty and cosmetology industry and making people feel better
- Strong technical skills and experience using a Mac computer
Desired Qualifications
- Sales experience a plus
- Salon experience an asset
