Job Summary
Greet guests at Hersheypark main gates, direct high guest flow, and record admissions, exits, and re-entries. Scan tickets and season passes using the Galaxy system, verify validity, and upsell park products. Manage stroller, wagon, wheelchair, and ECV rentals, including inventory tracking, stacking, and equipment breakdown resolution. Resolve guest inquiries, log feedback, and assist with the Family Finder wristband program. Maintain area cleanliness and provide telephone support. Work flexible hours including weekends and holidays, with physical demands involving standing for up to five hours and lifting up to 60 pounds. Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Friendly, upbeat, work well with other employees, and be able to interact with guests
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines
- Ability to handle money, including making change, as well as completing cashless transactions
- Ability to learn operational standards for the Guest Experience Department and adhere to department policy on cash handling and reporting
- Ability to safeguard confidential information
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, as well as maintain three (3) days of operational availability, Memorial Day - Labor Day
- Ability to maintain at least one (1) weekend day (Friday-Sunday) Labor Day through the beginning of November
- Visual ability to perform detailed work at close distances (computer screens, tickets, printed papers)
- Ability to work in a combination of indoor and outdoor weather conditions
- Ability to stand (for up to five hours at a time), walk, bend at the waist and knees and have repeated manual dexterity, and the ability to push, pull, and reach above shoulder level and lift up to sixty (60) pounds without assistance
