Job Summary
Provide exceptional guest service, specialized assistance for guests with disabilities, and clear directions throughout UBS Arena. Transport guests needing wheelchair escorts, manage elevator capacity, and control ingress and egress while adhering to safety protocols. Coordinate with dispatchers for assignments, complete incident reports and wheelchair logs, and scan tickets for event access. Work in both indoor and outdoor conditions, including steep and elevated areas, while maintaining a positive image with guests and venue staff. Available for 80% of monthly events, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with an hourly rate of $21.50.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a customer service-based industry
- Must be able to complete all required trainings
- Must be able to engage with guests first
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be available for 80% of events scheduled a month
- Ability to function independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Ability to utilize web-based programs and digital equipment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work with the public and have interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift heavy objects
- Ability to stand in the same spot for extended periods of time
- Ability to walk up and down stairs
- Ability to work in enclosed spaces
- Ability to work steep, elevated areas
- Must uphold and maintain a customer-friendly environment
