Job Summary

The Guest Engagement Assistant Store Leader will lead a guest-focused team to deliver exceptional guest experiences in-store, driving sales and achieving company goals. Responsibilities include hiring, training and developing a diverse team, coaching associates on service standards, managing the Mission Monday initiative to benefit the community, ensuring accountability for P&L results, providing timely feedback and recognition to drive retention and performance, and maintaining a welcoming, well-presented store environment. The role requires strong communication, hospitality leadership experience, a passion for community impact, entrepreneurial thinking to implement revenue-driven ideas, a professional appearance, and the ability to work a varied schedule (minimum 40 hours/week including holidays, nights, and weekends). Bachelor’s Degree is preferred; at least 1 year of retail or hospitality management experience is expected, with demonstrated capabilities in leadership, customer satisfaction, and employee relations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 1 year Retail or Hospitality Management
  • Strong communication skills with an outgoing personality and willingness to engage with guests
  • Proven record as a successful hospitality leader with a high degree of knowledge in all aspects of leadership including financial results, guest satisfaction and employee relations
  • The ability to maintain a beautiful environment using a keen eye for detail, ensuring a pleasing experience and inviting atmosphere
  • A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the community and contribute to meaningful causes
  • Creative and entrepreneurial thinking with the ability to react instinctively to implementing revenue driven ideas and opportunities
  • A well-groomed and stylish appearance is essential, reflecting both personal pride and a commitment to delivering a world-class guest experience
  • Ability to work a varied schedule with a minimum of 40 hours a week including holidays, nights and weekends
  • Physical ability to perform tasks, which could require prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling and/or squatting frequently. May be required to occasionally climb ladders, climb and descend stairs frequently, depending on location
  • Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance
