Job Summary
Answer resident call bells and door alarms promptly while providing courteous service and ensuring personal grooming aligns with dress codes. Support residents with activities of daily living including eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming per individual plans of care. Transport residents to rooms, recreational activities, the health office, and dining room as required. Offer cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support alongside oral and dental care. Complete laundry and housekeeping duties as outlined by assignments. Build relationships with residents and family members to enrich their daily health and well-being. Work Sunday through Saturday in shifts ranging from 7am to 11pm.
Required Qualifications
- Sunday - Saturday
- 7am-3pm
- 3pm-11pm
- 11pm-7am
- Grade 12 minimum education
- Safe Serve designation
- one year experience in dining room service
- legally eligible to work in Canada
- valid work/study permit
- successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
