Job Summary
Guardrail Installer Driver responsible for highway guardrail installation and related duties. Includes reading plans, laying out guardrails, handling materials, loading/unloading on flat-bed trucks, operating post pounder/truck, driving to jobsites, maintaining paperwork, and adhering to safety and regulatory requirements. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to drive long hours, and comfort working outdoors on construction sites. Training and ongoing requirements include GPS/AVL/CB usage, potential background checks, drug testing, and compliance with traffic laws and safety procedures. Location-based duties centered in McDavid, FL with open schedule and overtime机会.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current and valid driver's license
- Must pass MVR check and controlled substances test
- Background/criminal record check may be required
- Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
- Experience operating hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and traffic conditions
- Physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Experience driving long hours and traveling regularly
- Familiarity with GPS/AVL units and CB radio
- Ability to read plans/schematics and follow highway construction plans
- Ability to load/unload materials and record cargo deliveries
- Compliance with safety guidelines and company policies
