Job Summary
Provides 24/7 service coordination and oversight for individuals under HHSC guardianship; assesses need for guardianship and least restrictive alternatives; prepares and files legal documents; testifies in court hearings; manages guardianship-related decisions including medical, educational, and financial affairs; interacts with court staff, attorneys, providers, and the public; requires travel, on-call availability, and compliance with JBCC standards; telework may be available consistent with policy.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 2 years professional case management experience
- Willing to travel up to 75%
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to work on-call and outside regular hours including nights and weekends
- Meet JBCC certification requirements within first year of employment
- Pass FBI criminal fingerprint check and state background checks
