Job Summary
Guard Shack Security Officer — Full Time role in Morris, IL. Responsibilities include performing access control at security entrances/exits, conducting patrols inside/outside client premises, interacting with client employees and guests, identifying and reporting safety issues or suspicious activity, and providing detailed written reports. Requires conflict resolution and de-escalation skills, ability to work in a team, and adherence to pre-employment screening. Education: High School Diploma or GED (or ability to obtain GED within 6 months). Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months
- Standard computer / technology skills
- Strong Customer service background preferred
- Security, truck logistics, or receptionist experience a plus
- Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner
- Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift
- Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation
