Job Summary
Dispatch-oriented security/operations role coordinating paperwork with outside truck drivers, aligning dispatch with warehouse operations, and ensuring on-time shipments. Responsible for arranging shipping documentation, communicating with carriers, verifying invoices and manifests, tracking live loads and dock activity, maintaining logs, and overseeing gate access, trailer movements, and yard security. Requires effective written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate security systems and yard tools while supporting customer service and maintaining compliance. Must be reliable, able to work in a team, and adhere to company policies; HS diploma or GED preferred with 1–2 years of dispatch/logistics/security experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED preferred
- 1-2 years dispatch, logistics, or security experience preferred
- Experience with MS Office; familiarity with dispatch systems (iDS preferred) and yard management tools preferred
