Job Summary
Package and process loan applications for government guarantee programs like SBA and USDA by gathering documentation, ensuring compliance, and preparing submissions for agencies. Serve as the primary contact for lenders and loan administrators, providing guidance on program requirements and maintaining relationships with vendors and governmental bodies. Coordinate with internal credit, legal, and operations teams to facilitate approvals, while regularly analyzing application data to identify trends and process improvements. Maintain accurate records, complete required compliance training, and collaborate with the guaranteed lending team to meet objectives. Make referrals to the Mortgage Center and Wealth Management, and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a lending or financial services role, with a focus on loan packaging preferred
- Knowledge of government guarantee programs such as SBA and USDA is a plus
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Driving, and occasional travel, as needed for business purpose
- Work outside of regular business hours, as deemed necessary
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Maintains a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including, but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act: Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc.
- Completes required compliance training and adheres to the Bank's standard of conduct
