Job Summary
Protect facilities by performing armed/unarmed security duties at Guam contract locations. Responsibilities include patrolling the facility on foot, monitoring CCTV systems and alarms, reporting safety concerns and security breaches, handling emergencies per protocol, understanding site-specific post orders, greeting visitors and employees, answering questions, and maintaining professional appearance. The role requires strong interpersonal and written communication skills, the ability to work in a team and independently, and adherence to client and company security procedures. Training is required (two consecutive weeks), and candidates should have firearms experience and relevant security licenses. Pay rate listed as $33.20/hour plus a health & welfare contribution; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED
- Must meet at least ONE of the following: 2 years of armed security experience OR 2 years of military or National Guard service (active or reserve) OR successful completion of state-certified law enforcement education and training OR police officers' standard training courses
- Candidates should have prior firearms experience
- Active DHS Homeland Security Federal Protective Service Clearance preferred or be able to acquire and maintain a favorable adjudication
- Unarmed Security Guard License OR Armed Security Guard License
- Must be able to attend at least two consecutive weeks of training
- Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills; fluency in English; ability to work in a team and independently
- Ability to provide quality customer service and to handle emergency situations efficiently at client site
